SW Manager (Band 8a Lead) - OPAC

New opportunity for a AMHP Social Work Manager to work within the Mental Health Team within either Huntingdon, Cambridge

The team sits within the Mental Health Team with the role predominately responsibility to coordinate and lead the AMHP service, integral to successful service delivery by offering leadership and supervision whilst engaging with stakeholders and partners to ensuring that AMHP processes, standards and regulations are met.

As part of this role you will be ensuring high-quality, effective and efficient service delivery for the AMHP Service and be responsible for AMHP standards and compliance in the team.

You will be providing regular supervision for practitioners within the team being mindful of both Council's Policies and Procedures, legislation and Professional Standards and participate in quality assurance for the Division by undertaking regular case file audits and by ensuring that the learning from audits is taken on board by the individual concerned.

This role is to commence ASAP and will be full time working 37.5 hours per week with the shift patterns being Monday to Friday

The pay rate for this role is: £36 Per Hour
