Project Manager

A client within the Public Sector based in Devon is currently recruiting for a Project Manager to join their Waste, Recycling & Disposal team as soon as possible.

The client is offering a full time, temporary position on an ongoing basis with the ideal candidate having experience of working within a local authority.



The Role


Key purpose of the role is to manage the project team to ensure the successful planning, execution, monitoring, control and closure of multiple, high/medium risk projects and the delivery of new capability.



Key responsibilities will include but not be limited to:



  • Estimate and forecasting of project deliverable at outset of multiple, high/medium risk, projects.



  • Develop outline and full business cases and other necessary documentation for multiple, high/medium risk, projects.


  • Report progress of projects as agreed within governance arrangements in line with standards set out by the Portfolio Office



The Candidate



  • To be considered for this role you will require a degree or equivalent experience related to Project or Change Management.



The below skills would be beneficial for the role:



  • Understanding stakeholder requirements.

  • Developing and managing robust budgets and resource plans.



  • Can demonstrate experience in planning, managing, and delivering projects.




The client is looking to move quickly with this role and as such are offering £550 per day Umbrella LTD Inside IR35.
