Band 6 District Nurse

A Band 6 District Nurse is required within a NHS Burton Town District Nursing Team to work on a full time basis as part of a long term locum contract.

Hours 08.30am - 16:30pm

Days Monday to Friday

Pay £26ph via umbrella

Location Burton Upon Trent

£250 for a successful application bonus

Pay negotiable subject to experience

Role

The role is based within the Burton Town District Nursing Team on a minimum 12 week contract.

The role includes supporting the team and its patients referrals who due to a number of reasons have limited access to the usual primary and secondary care pathways.

You will be providing nursing care to patients within their own homes, residential homes, clinics to prevent admissions to hospital.

Patients conditions can vary substantially.

Ultimately, you will be improving the health and wellbeing of the services patients including teaching techniques to increase self-care and independence.

Candidate Requirements:

• Essential to be a driver


• Essential to valid NMC Pin


• Essential to hold at least 1 year staff nurse experience
