
Project Manager NEC
A client within the Public Sector based in East Riding of Yorkshire is currently recruiting for a Project Manager NEC EEC to join their contracts team as soon as possible.
The client is offering a full time, permanent position with the ideal candidate having experience of working within the private or public sector within a construction environment.
The Role
Key purpose of the role is to be responsible for managing all aspects of the project, from conception to completion, ensuring adherence to contractual obligations, and fostering communication among the team and all stakeholders.
Key responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Lead the planning, implementation, and execution of construction projects.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders, including clients, contractors, subcontractors, and internal teams, to define project objectives and deliverables.
- Develop and manage project budgets, resource allocation, and timelines, while ensuring compliance with NEC ECC requirements.
- Prepare and administer NEC ECC contracts, handling any changes or variations as required during project lifecycles.
- Conduct regular project status meetings, provide progress reports, and address any issues or risks that may impact project delivery.
The Candidate
To be considered for this role you will require proven experience as a Construction Project Manager with a strong background in managing projects under the NEC ECC contract.
The below skills would be beneficial for the role:
- BSc qualification and preferably Chartered Status with a relevant professional body.
- Relevant certifications and accreditations in project management and NEC ECC would be advantageous.
- In-depth knowledge of contract administration, the NEC ECC contract, including compensation events, and risk management.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and manage diverse project teams effectively.
The client is looking to move quickly with this role and as such are offering competitive salaries at approx.
£50,000 p/a including various bonuses.
