Hi all, I'm currently recruiting for an Administrator in the NHS based over in the Shrewsbury & Telford area.

Hours - 37.5
Location - Telford/Shrewsbury (Dependant on Service)
Rate - £11 PAYE Per hour (Paid weekly by an umbrella company)

, RSA II or equivalent experience (example ECDL
, Good standard of education (e.g.

GCSE level or equivalent)
, Demonstrable general customer care experience.
, Demonstrable general administration experience
, Good written and verbal skills
, Good organisational skills
, Database experience
, Computer literate (e.g.

ECDL)
, The ability to follow administrative systems and procedures
, A good working knowledge of Microsoft Office systems
, A good telephone manner with an ability to remain calm under pressure
, Ability to work flexibly to meet the changing needs of the service/ organisation.


, Ability and experience of liaising and communicating with clients/service users and people at all levels within the NHS - including direct contact with consultants, GPs and other clinicians.
, Team worker
, Ability to work under pressure and to meet tight deadlines; prioritising workload as a matter of routine.
, Ability to work with a wide range of multi-disciplinary staff
, Discretion and sensitivity when dealing with confidential information
, Ability to deviate from one task to another diverting own priorities
, Ability to be assertive or sensitive when necessary
, High degree of accuracy
, Ability to communicate effectively at different levels internal/external to the organisation
, Able to work on own initiative
, Occasional requirement to lift and move stationery items including printer paper.

, Deals with occasional verbal abuse from angry patients via the telephone.
