Service Care Solutions are currently recruiting alongside a Local Authority in the Greater Manchester area, who are looking for a Legal Assistant to join their Children's Team.

They are offering a great opportunity for candidates with experience or those with a law degree wishing to gain entry level experience as a Legal Assistant to apply.

ROLE: Legal Assistant Childcare
RATE: £13-£14ph
BASED: Manchester
OFFICE: Hybrid - 4 month on going

The Role/ Responsibilities

• They will work alongside a Senior Legal Assistant undertaking Childcare proceedings.


• Requesting and filing evidence, answering calls, booking Counsel.


• Drafting and preparing Bundles


• Working and supporting Lawyers on Childcare matters/.

The Person

• Experience within Childcare Law is a benefit but are open to candidates with a law degree / LPC / bar finals passed, looking to gain entry level experience


• Great communication skills, written and oral.


• Prompt, organised and efficient.
