Job Title: Service Lead - Housing Management
Location: Doncaster, South Yorkshire
Contract Type: 9-Month Contract
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 am - 5:00 pm (with occasional out-of-hours coverage)

Key Responsibilities:
As a Service Lead, you will be responsible for managing a team of 5 front-line staff to deliver an intensive housing management service to our users.

Your primary responsibilities will include:
Team Management: Provide leadership and guidance to your team, ensuring they deliver services to a high standard and meet all performance requirements.
Support and Supervision: Undertake support and supervision of staff, conduct performance appraisals, and promote their personal development to enhance their roles.
Caseload Support: Assist staff with their caseloads, offering expertise and resolving issues as they arise to ensure the effective delivery of services.
Resource Optimization: Minimize void time and maximize rent collection in alignment with set targets.
Facility Management: Oversee the management of housing and property facilities, ensuring a safe environment by assessing and mitigating fire and health and safety risks.

Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation and escalate issues as necessary.


  • Valid driver's license (must be able to drive).

  • Previous experience in housing management or a related field.

  • Strong leadership and team management skills.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to handle complex situations.

  • Commitment to maintaining high service standards.

  • Understanding of relevant housing legislation and regulations.

Additional Information:
This is a 9-month contract position, with the possibility of extension.

You will be required to provide out-of-hours coverage one week in every five weeks.
