Project Manager

Project Manager, Newcastle, £50-60K + 10% Bonus + £5,400 Car Allowance + Bens.

You must have a background as an I.T.

Project Manager with experience of Project Management or Process Improvement of transformation, shaping and delivering a number of improvement projects within a multi-divisional business nationwide.



The role:

Planning
, Plans, controls and manages the delivery of a Portfolio of projects to meet the agreed business needs, acquiring and utilising the necessary resources and skills, within agreed parameters of cost, timescales and quality.
, Ensures that all projects are appropriately planned as per guidance from the IT PMO Controls and Governance Models
, Conducts regular reviews and reports progress against the project budget and project plan

Financial Responsibilities
, Monitors and controls resources, revenue and capital costs against the project budget and manages expectations of all project stakeholders
, Liaises with budget holders and sponsors to manage the project spend within agreed budget
, Ensures best value is obtained for the project including supplier base, use of resources and technology
, Operates the PMOs risk framework to identify and manage the required outcome of potential risks and opportunities

Operational Responsibilities
, Overall management of a projects
, Liaison, communication and effective management of suppliers, the Business and other functions to ensure each projects effective delivery on schedule and within budget
, Reports on budgets, resourcing, project(s) status, risks and issues to the Portfolio

About You:

, Experienced Project Management or Process improvement of digitalisation, with significant demonstrable experience shaping and delivering a number of improvement projects within a multi-divisional business nationwide.

, Strong experience of workload prioritisation and ability to multitask
, Strong understanding on the importance of people and process in change management
, Experience of working in a digital programme environment

, Ability to work under pressure
, Strong understanding / recognised qualification relating to the disciplines of project management including best practice methodologies e.g., Prince 2 Practitioner, Agile, APMP, Scrum Master etc

This Project Manager role is a hybrid position based in Newcastle and pays c£50-60K base + 10% Bonus, £5,400 Car Allowance + bens.
