CBT Therapist

An outstanding job opportunity has arisen for a committed CBT Therapist to work in an exceptional hospital based in the Hale, Manchester area.

*To be considered for this position you must have a recognised post graduate diploma in CBT theory and practice

As the CBT Therapist your key responsibilities include:

• Support the delivery of our acute mental health inpatient and outpatient group therapy programmes and to deliver individual therapy to both outpatients and inpatients admitted to this service


• Will be involved in the facilitation of specialist psycho-educational and relapse prevention therapy groups, individual sessions, and the completion of assessments and treatment plans for a range of patients


• Required to complete 60% of their contracted hours as clinical face-to-face hours


• The role will involve a blended approach of both face-to-face and remote working

The following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role:

• Be interested in dynamic therapy with clients who are motivated to change


• Have experience of and actively use DBT skills & techniques


• Provide high quality interventions in accordance with NICE guidance


• Be an inspirational collaborator with excellent communication skills


• Have previous experience in the area of acute mental health


• Be skilled in the facilitation of a range of group interventions


• Be an accredited CBT therapist or working towards accreditation

The successful CBT Therapist will receive an excellent salary of £38,000 - £48,000 per annum.

This exciting position is a Full Time role working 37.5 hours a week.
