PHD Clinical Biochemist/ OR Biomedical Senior Scientist

Based area near County Durham

Permanent role, Monday to Friday

I am working exclusively on a great opportunity for a PHD Level Clinical Biochemist or PHD Biomedical Scientist.

We are looking for this person to join a successful long-established team.

As a PHD Clinical Biochemist/ Biomedical Scientist you will have strong understanding of Eliza, doing plate-based bio marker assays and have a strong understanding of Quality Control systems.

This is a fantastic opportunity as you will be building a team under you to manage, so looking for someone who has a lot of scientific knowledge, not your normal BMS recently graduated individual. 

Some of the main duties will be :

• Running Haematology analyser – make is SysMIC
• Running urine analysis machine – make is SysMic
• Coagulation testing
• Strong knowledge of Biomarker assays- Eliza, must be able to do plate-based bio marker assays
• Strong understanding of Quality systems

The role is based in a beautiful country town which is near County Durham, a great place to raise a family and settle, if you have and to live, cost of living not so high either.

On offer is a competitive salary , car if required, pension and other benefits.

You would probably need to relocate , if that is an option.
