Ba d 7 Registered Mental Health Nurse - Perinatal Mental Health

New opportunity for a Registered Mental Health Nurse to work within a Perinatal Mental Health Team, Based in Peterborough - Rate of pay for this role: £31 Per Hour

The team sits within the Perinatal Mental health team with the role predominantly carrying out assessments and acting as duty worker.

You will be triaging urgent referrals and assess urgency and ensure the referral is followed up safely and appropriately.

As part of this role you will hold a caseload of patients in the community and act as care coordinator for women in the perinatal period who experience mental health difficulties or at risk of experiencing mental health difficulties.

You will be an active member of the MDT and act as clinical lead to Band 6 Staff.

You will also be a Liaison with midwives and health visitors and work in collaboration with child protection services as and when required and chair MDT meetings as and when required.

The team Area covers Peterborough Huntingdon, Wisbech and surrounding areas.

It is essential that candidates have a valid NMC Pin.

This role is to commence ASAP and will be full time working 37.5 hours per week with the shift patterns being Monday to Friday
