A client within the Public Sector based in Southwest London is currently recruiting for a Compliance Contracts Manager to join their Housing team as soon as possible.

The client is offering a full time, temporary position on an ongoing basis with the ideal candidate having experience of working within a local authority.

The Role

Key purpose of the role is to implement the recommendations made by the organisation's assurance review board with regards to Building Compliance Functions.

Key responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

• Lead high performing building compliance functions and/or step changed improvements in such functions.


• Complying with all statutory regulations and Approved Codes of Practice, (ACOP) relating to gas, electrical, legionella, asbestos, fire safety, lifts


• Develop and implement polices, procedures and processes.
  
  

The Candidate

To be considered for this role you will require:

• IOSH


• Significant experience in the housing sector of leading on assets compliance.
  
  

The below skills would be beneficial for the role:

• Significant experience of leading high performing Building Compliance functions


• Understanding of building safety legislation and regulations, inclusive of the Fire Safety Act 2021 and Building Safety Act 2022

The client is looking to move quickly with this role and as such are offering £500 per hour Umbrella LTD Inside IR35.
