I am currently recruiting on behalf of a local authority for a Unit 4 Project Lead Accountant in North Warwickshire (Hybrid) and wondered if you may be interested in the role?

The Role of Unit 4 Project Lead Accountant

• To lead on the implementation of Unit 4 Financial System including procedure notes to ensure planning and implementation are aligned.


• To manage all aspects of the Go Live for the Council ensuring everything is in place for this with effective business process implemented.


• Monitor cutover to analyse the process and make any real life changes or adaptation to the process.


• Effective user acceptance testing to ensure ahead of the Go Live that all aspects of the system is performing as planned.


• Lead on the training delivery of the new systems to end users.

The Person required for Unit 4 Project Lead Accountant

• Has previous experience leading a similar project


• Experience of Unit 4 either as an end user or ideally as a project lead


• Knowledge and experience of Local Government
