Dementia Assessment Support Worker

Hours: Full Time, 5 Days a week 9am-5pm, Agency Contract

Pay: £13.50 ph Ltd Umbrella

Location: Telford, Shropshire

£150 for a successful application bonus!

Role:

This is an exciting 3 month full time agency contract to work within an NHS Dementia Service.

The role predominantly consists of telephone work, undertaking the initial assessments and relaying on to NHS admin systems.

We are looking for a candidate who is flexible in their commutability and a car driver for potential home visits if required.

Most of your work is completed within the service itself.

We are looking for a candidate with strong IT skills who holds experience of caring for older adults with memory problems and working with qualified clinicians.

Candidate Requirements:

• Essential to be a driver


• Must have previous experience in managing multiple caseloads


• Preferable to have minimum NVQ 3 level qualification relating to mental health or health and social care


• Preferable to have a valid DBS


• Preferable to have previous experience in a similar mental health setting


• Flexible towards availability
