Purpose of Job:
As the Asbestos Compliance Administrator, you will provide essential administration support to ensure effective delivery in the areas of Asbestos compliance.
Your responsibilities will include data cleansing, data management within our compliance software package, and regular reporting to support Asbestos compliance delivery programs.
Your attention to detail and accuracy will be vital in completing general administrative tasks for the asbestos compliance team and providing exceptional support to internal and external customers.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and support the Asbestos Manager and wider Asbestos team with administrative tasks to ensure smooth progress and delivery of asbestos compliance in accordance with CAR2012 group-wide on a day-to-day basis.
- Raise jobs, upload documents, track works, and collaborate with project teams and stakeholders within the company, ensuring compliance processes are followed accurately and completed on time.
- Review, input, maintain, and update external contractor data in our compliance software (OpenHousing/DMS) with precision.
- Work with contractors and stakeholders to resolve queries related to works and general asbestos knowledge.
- Complete initial commercial processes for invoicing and review external contractors' payment applications for accuracy before hierarchy sign-off.
- Provide regular progress reporting and updates to various stakeholders.
- Perform any other duties commensurate with the role.
- Knowledge, Skills, and Experience Required:
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience Required:
- Excellent IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft applications (Outlook, Excel, Word, TEAMS, Open Housing, and internal systems).
- General asbestos knowledge is advantageous but not essential (ideally CAR2012 Reg 4 training or P400).
- Strong interpersonal skills with a proactive, enthusiastic, and self-motivated approach, paying high attention to detail.
- Good verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact at all levels.
- Flexible team player capable of working in a rapidly changing environment.
- Strong administrative background with the ability to work independently and support other team members when required.
- Ability to work under pressure and prioritise workloads to deliver outstanding service within strict deadlines.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
