Service Care Solutions are currently recruiting alongside a Council based in the Merseyside area.

They are looking for a strong Contracts & Procurement Lawyer to join the Legal department that are expanding.

ROLE: Contract & Procurement Lawyer
SALARY: £50-£60ph
BASED: Liverpool
OFFICE: Fully Remote

The Role/ Responsibilities and Person

• Have local government experience


• Have substantial contracts experience


• Have experience of public procurement


• To be involved in the negotiation and drafting of a wide range of legal agreements that are relevant to the Council's work.


• Handle own Caseload from start to completion.

The Person

• Qualified solicitors, barristers or fellows of CILEX


• Minimum 30hrs- but looking for someone full time.


• Have experience in Adult Social Care would be beneficial but not essential


• Extensive and Strong Technical knowledge within the field of Contracts & Procurement Law.
