Service Care Solutions are recruiting for Band 8b Pharmacists within Lancashire with some remote working.

Contract duration is 3 months with the likelihood of extension.
This is a full-time placement with 37.5 hours per week available, however Part-time applications will also be considered.

Job Purpose: Pharmacists

Pay Rate: Up to £42.00 Umbrella p/h + 250 WELCOME BONUS

Location: Preston - Hybrid

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 09:00-17:00

Key Responsibilities:

• Work with medical, nursing and pharmacy staff to ensure the safe provision of systemic anti-cancer treatment (SACT) to patients with cancer


• Practice as part of the pharmacy team to contribute to the development of high quality and consistent pharmaceutical services


• Minimise risk from medication harm and minimise wastage.


• Provide pharmaceutical services to inpatients (including taking drug histories and writing and processing discharge prescriptions)


• Deputise for the lead oncology pharmacist where required

The successful candidate will hold a suitable qualification and GpHC registration and will have experience working within the NHS or Hospital environment.

They must have experience in working within an oncology setting.
