Service Care Solutions are recruiting for an experienced Psychologist for a Permanent opportunity supporting our established client in the Worcestershire area.

Our client is a leading provider of private Mental Health care within the UK.

This is a full-time opportunity with 37.5 hours per week available.

The successful candidate will work within the picturesque village of Broadway, providing specialist support for Younger People with Eating Disorders which includes Bulimia Nervosa, Anorexia Nervosa and Avoidant Restrictive Food Intake Disorder.



Job Purpose: Clinical/Counselling Psychologist

Salary: £50,000 per annum + £250 SCS Sign-Up Bonus

Location: Worcestershire

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 09:00-17:00

Contract: Full-time | 37.5 Hours

The post holder will work as part of the Psychology Team providing outstanding knowledge of models, methods, law and policies in psychology.
Key Responsibilities:

• To provide a highly specialist brief, medium or long-term psychotherapy for children and young people with severe, complex and persistent mental health conditions and eating disorders


• To provide in-depth risk-assessments of young people who are at risk to themselves and to be able to formulate more short-term crisis planning


• To contribute to the process of care planning for young people referred to Cotswold Spa, and to manage a complex caseload as the individual therapist working within a multidisciplinary team


• To monitor clinical progress through regular reviews of psychotherapy treatment


• To be able to engage and work with children and young people with a range of learning and developmental difficulties, while drawing upon a range of theoretical and practical knowledge acquired over a significant period of time

Essential

• HCPC Registration

• Substantial experience working with Children & Younger People


• Previous experience working within a Eating Disorders setting
