Service Care Solutions are recruiting for a Band 8a Clinical/Counselling Psychologist for a LOCUM contract supporting Berkshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust.

This is a part-time opportunity which will run for an initial period of 12 weeks with the likelihood of extension.



Job Purpose: Band 8a Clinical/Counselling Psychologist

Pay Rate: £35.00 LTD p/h | £250 SCS Sign-Up Bonus

Location: Churchill House, Bracknell | Hybrid

Working Hours: Monday to Friday | 09:00-17:00 (Tuesday and Wednesday are mandatory)

Contract: 30 hours per week

The post holder will provide a qualified clinical/counselling psychology service to clients of the service team, across all sectors of care; providing highly specialist psychological assessment and therapy at the same time as offering advice and consultation on clients' psychological care to non-psychologist colleagues and to other, nonprofessional carers, working autonomously within professional guidelines and the overall framework of the team's policies and procedures; and to utilise research skills for audit, policy and service development and research within the area served by the team/service.
