I am currently recruiting on behalf of a Local Authority for a Technical Accountant in Worcestershire (Hybrid) on an initial 12 week contract.



ROLE: Technical Accountant
LOCATION: Worcestershire (Hybrid)
CONTRACT: 12 Weeks (Ongoing)
RATE: £23+ per hour UMBRELLA

The Role

• To support the Business Support Accountant in the maintenance of key accounting records for the Council, including the register of fixed assets.


• To prepare the Final Accounts for Council as directed by the Business Support Accountant.


• To supervise the Business Support Technician

The Person

• Fully CCAB qualified, preferably CIPFA


• Has extensive experience of local authority accounting and knowledge and understanding of key accounting principles


• Working knowledge of Cedar and/or Agresso or similar


• Ability to prioritise workloads and meets key objectives/measures
