Service Care Solutions are looking for a Band 5/6 CPN for a vacancy based in the Haltemprice Older Adults CMHT based in Willerby, Hull.

The role is a full time, long-term NHS locum contract.

• Haltemprice Older Adults CMHT


• 37.5 hours per week


• Mon-Fri 0900-1700


• Weekday rate - Up to £26 p/h

The role has been described as follows:

The Older People's team provides mental health assessment and interventions (or treatments) predominantly for clients experiencing mental health problems who are over 65, although referrals to the service are considered according to individual need.
We provide a service for people who have functional mental health needs (such as depression and anxiety) or organic needs (such as Dementia).

We work together with public, private and voluntary services to provide the best possible care.

Clients are seen in clinics, in their own homes, residential or other care settings by community mental health nurses and support workers.

We also provide support and advice for carers and family members.

The following skills have been specified

• Registered Mental Health Nurse


• The role is community based, so a car is essential


• Good IT skills are necessary as some assessments are done on Teams or virtually


• All staff must have experience of a broad range of MH conditions and have the ability to care co-ordinate


• There is an assessment and treatment function in the role


• Nursing staff are also required to hold a small case load of patients who receive depots and be able to carry out physical health checks
