Children's Social Worker needed with Liverpool City Council.

Start Date- ASAP

Contract End date- Initially 6 months with the view of extension

Hours per week - 35 hours per week

Pay rate - Up to £40 P/H.

The position is based within the assessment/ safeguarding and permanence teams and will offer Hybrid working.

The primary purpose of the Children Social Worker role will be to contribute to the operational delivery of an effective Children's Social Care Service as part of a team who will be responsible for safeguarding and promoting the welfare of vulnerable children and young people.

You will be expected to manage your own caseload alongside managing the reputation of the department and council and adhere to national/service procedures.

To be successful in this new post, you will...

• Registered with Social Work England


• Experience as a Qualified Social Worker in a similar role
