Senior Clinical Pharmacist - 15-22.5hrs

We are looking for an experienced Clinical Pharmacist to join an on-site team on a part-time basis, 2 or 3 days per week (15-22.5 hours) – this is a brilliant opportunity for someone who is interested in a regular commitment within a comprehensive independent hospital pharmacy (and the benefits that come with) while being able to retain the flexibility to pick up locum shifts elsewhere.

As a Senior Clinical Pharmacist, you will be assisting the pharmacy manager with governance, clinical audits, policy review and training for both the pharmacy department and the general hospital with respect to medicines.

You will be working closely with consultants to influence and advance pharmaceutical care towards recognised national standards.

This is a permanent, part-time (15-22.5h) position for a hospital-based Senior Clinical Pharmacist.

Person specification:

Candidates will have:


  • Active registration with the GPhC as a Pharmacist
  • At least 2 years’ post-registration experience within a hospital pharmacy

It is desirable but not essential to have:


  • PGDip Clinical Pharmacy (Hospital orientated)
  • Previous governance & clinical audit experience
