Service Care Legal are recruiting on behalf of a local authority in the South West London region who are seeking a Senior Procurement Lawyer to join their team on a contract basis.

ROLE: Senior Procurement Lawyer
LOCATION: South West London
RATE: £45.00 to £50.00
CONTRACT: 6 months ago

Please not that this position would be a hybrid working position.

1 or 2 days per week in the office.

The Role

• To manage and progress a full caseload of Procurement matters through to completion


• Drafting, negotiating and advising on a range of commercial supplier contracts from start to finish


• Matters may be high risk bespoke agreements, such as outsourcing, IT and software and service agreements, or lower value consultancy and non-disclosure agreements, including extensions and variations

The Person

• A qualified Solicitor, Legal Executive or Barrister with at least 2 years' PQE


• At least 2 years' worth of EU Procurement experience within a public sector setting


• Experience of supervising staff would be highly beneficial
