A client within the Public Sector based in Greater London is currently recruiting for a Planning Officer to join their Environmental and Regeneration team as soon as possible.

The client is offering a full time, temporary position on an ongoing basis with the ideal candidate having experience of working within a local authority.

The Role

Key purpose of the role to manage an application, enforcement, conservation & design caseload including making recommendations and handling any appeals, and giving compliance, pre-application, and general planning advice.

Key responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

• Undertake enforcement investigations, appeals and submissions under the Planning Acts, Orders and Regulations, including consultations, site visits, evaluation and negotiation with applicants/transgressors and other interested parties.
  
  


• Provide advice on possible breaches of planning control

The Candidate

To be considered for this role you will require:

• Qualified as a Planner, Conservation Officer, or Architect.
  
  

The client is looking to move quickly with this role and as such are offering £27 per hour Umbrella LTD Inside IR35.
