Community Psychiatric Nurse - Early Interventions

Opportunity available for a Community Psychiatric Nurse to work within an NHS setting, Based in Nottingham

The team sits within the Early Interventions Team, based at Highbury Hospital.

The post-holder will work as a Care Coordinator within the Early Intervention in Psychosis Team providing evidence-based specialist mental health assessments and interventions that are socially inclusive and recovery-focused, in line with national standards for people aged 14-65 experiencing first episode psychosis (FEP) or an at risk mental state (ARMS) for the development of psychosis.

The role involves the timely assessment of service users referred to the Early Intervention in Psychosis (EIP) Team, the provision of associated evidence-based interventions, including Family Interventions, either on an individual or group basis to those supported by the service and the use of standard outcome measures to monitor recovery using the HoNOS, QPR and DIALOG.



The EIP team is a community-based service which operates Monday-Friday 9am-5pm.

The post-holder will be required to travel across Nottinghamshire to support the needs of service users, their family members and carers.

The use of digital technologies to support service need and delivery are likely to be required within this role.

This role is to commence ASAP and will be working full time Monday-Friday 9-5

The hourly rate for his role is up to £26 per hour.
