Stock Controller Assistant 
Harlow (regular travel to two other locations)
Must be car driver - fully expensed

We are working on behalf of an excellent client who is looking to hire a Stock Controller Assistant to join their Admin Team and support the Stock Control Manager to manage and report on all stock held at the client's 3 locations.

The primary place of work will be Harlow, however will require the post holder to travel to their 2 other locations.

Main Duties of the Stock Controller Assistant:


  • Daily stock checks based on perpetual inventory
  • Daily audit of all vehicles despatched from site
  • Booking in deliveries across all sites
  • Daily review of stock exception reports
  • Control of part pallets
  • Returning cancelled orders to stock
  • Checking customer returns and PODs
  • Resolving issues with RDTS, printers and picker queries
  • Placing purchase orders for packaging and packing sundries
  • Closing Harlow production orders
  • Monthly stock takes at all three sites
  • Investigating stock differences
  • Monthly reporting on stock differences
  • Provide holiday support for transport team
  • Provide support for Auditors


Essential Skills of the Stock Controller Assistant:
 

  • Excellent IT skills in Microsoft 365, particularly Excel
  • Competent in Maths and English
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
  • Full driving licence and access to a vehicle
  • Ability to work using own initiative
  • Attention to detail

Beneficial Skills (not essential) of the Stock Controller Assistant:


  • Experience of stock control
  • Business Management or Logistics qualifications 
  • Knowledge of inventory managed stock control
