SCS is recruiting for an experienced Children's Home Registered Manager to oversee a brand-new service within a nationwide private care provider.

This is a full time permanent position based in Stroud, Gloucestershire


£250 for a successful application bonus!

Hours: Full time, permanent
Salary: £45,000 per annum
Location: Stroud, Gloucestershire
Role:
To oversee the running of a brand new children's residential service which specialises in the support of clients aged 13-18 with complex mental health needs, challenging behaviour and learning disabilities.

This service will be a new therapeutic home as part of a well established large care provider in the UK.


A fantastic opportunity after the success of the sister service based near by which the company wishes to replicate! Therefore, we are looking for a candidate who is currently registered and hold relatable experience in running an OFSTED regulated home.


You will hold overall responsibility for managing the referrals in to the service ensuring all children are safeguarding following OFSTED regulatory procedures.

You will be working with local authorities in managing the care of the clients and overseeing that all staffing and support is kept to the highest standard.


Essential to hold the Level 5 in Children's and Young Persons Workforce qualification or equivalent and have sound knowledge of the children's home regulations.
