Community Registered General Nurse

Opportunity available for a Registered General Nurse to work within the community, Based in Oxford

The team sits within the community team with the role predominately providing and undertaking a wide range of physical health assessments and to support colleagues in undertaking physical health assessments.

You will work collaboratively with primary health, develop and maintain links with GP practices, Mind and Recovery College and establish strong working relationships with other specialist services and signpost service users as required.

As part of this role you to have accountability and responsibility for implementation of physical health pathways, including developing and running the existing ‘My Physical Health Clinic', which offers physical health monitoring and intervention alongside medication administration.

Health care provided in patients own home, wound care including leg ulcer care and ability to apply compression, pressure damage prevention and treatment, IV drug administration and care of PICC lines, palliative and EOL care - syringe driver management, diabetic management and administration of insulin.

This role is to commence asap with the shift patterns being Monday to Friday with shift patterns being 08:00 - 16:00 or 08:00 - 18:30

The hourly rate for this role is: £25.00 Per Hour
