Responsibilities:


  • Report to the Engineering Director and collaborate closely with them on a daily basis.
  • Develop a detailed knowledge of the equipment, systems, and components used in our farms.
  • Work with the Operations and Engineering teams to develop specifications.
  • Lead the implementation of business cost reduction strategies through sourcing, without compromising quality.
  • Identify potential suppliers based on project requirements.
  • Challenge existing suppliers to recommend cost-effective and reliable products that improve our competitive position.
  • Perform technical and quality reviews of engineering and technical products.
  • Collaborate with engineers, statutory bodies, and the Operations team to ensure a smooth rollout of farming facilities.
  • Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work within a team environment.

Requirements:


  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field with 5+ years of experience.
  • Background in HVAC or automation is a plus.
  • Demonstrated sound engineering judgment and professional rigor in performing analyses.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, with familiarity in Autocad/Revit as a plus.
  • Good judgment and integrity in decision-making.
