A client within the Public Sector based in the Northeast is currently recruiting for an Estates Manager to join their team as soon as possible.

The client is offering a full time, temporary position on an ongoing basis with the ideal candidate having experience of working within a local authority within a management environment.

The Role

Key purpose of the role is to manage the estates, facilities and related assets, including property maintenance and building security and observation (CCTV).

Key responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

• support the Senior Management in delivering the priorities and functions of the department.


• be the regional project lead for Northeast responsible for managing the contract for the estates and Headquarters.


• manage effectively the regional contract including financial aspects and relationship management/dispute resolution.

The Candidate

To be considered for this role you will require a degree level of education or above or equivalent and Project management training, knowledge and experience.

The below skills would be essential for the role:

• Health and Safety qualification e.g.
  
  IOSH or NEBOSH


• Knowledge of prevailing legislation, regulation and best practice relating to facilities and property management.


• Working knowledge of relevant local authority procedures.
  
  

The client is looking to move quickly with this role and as such are offering £20 per hour Umbrella LTD Inside IR35.
