Service Care Solutions are recruiting for a Commercial Lead to work for a Police Force in Greater London.

Job Role:
As the Commercial Lead Resource Management, your primary focus will be working with operational policing stakeholders to translate front-line requirements, leveraging knowledge from small and medium enterprises and leading global tech companies to create commercial models, and delivering market solutions through innovative sourcing.

You will provide innovative and flexible commercial solutions, build strong relationships with stakeholders and suppliers, and ensure best value for the organization within a regulatory environment.


Key Responsibilities:


Champion effective project delivery, providing overall direction and leadership to the project delivery team.
Lead projects setup, management, and delivery, adhering to professional standards and managing inter-dependencies.
Build and maintain critical working relationships with stakeholders, enabling effective partnership working.
Complete project documentation and reporting requirements, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery.
Manage commercial arrangements, assess viable options, and ensure value for money and performance of contracted parties.
Provide category management leadership, understanding business needs and stakeholder drivers.
Develop relationships with key and strategic suppliers, driving value for money and risk management excellence.
Lead the commercial life cycle of the program, including strategy and policy development, sourcing, and procurement processes.
Essential Criteria:


Experience in senior management within a complex change portfolio.
Ability to influence and negotiate with director-level stakeholders.
Skilled in resolving and escalating risks, issues, and conflicts within a complex change portfolio.
Experience in managing suppliers and contractors, assuring quality and value for money.
Strong team management skills, fostering a collaborative culture and continuous learning.
Track record in managing complex programs and projects.
In-depth understanding of sourcing and procurement methodologies.
Desirable Criteria:


Experience in contract management roles or across the commercial life cycle.
CIPS qualification/IACCM certification (or working towards).
