Registered Manager

Service Care Solutions are recruiting on behalf of a private client for a Registered Manager to join their fantastic ever-growing team.



This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is Ofsted registered to join a brand-new home based in Euxton, Chorley.



The main purpose of this position is to be responsible for the day to day management of the Children's home!

As a Registered manager your will:



  • Take overall responsibility for all staff and ensure that high standards are expected in the delivery of care

  • Make sure that staff are aware of the responsibilities in the home and adhere to children's legislation and regulations

  • Manage and monitor labour costs, staffing structures and rotas, ensuring they meet requirements of the children's needs and are in line with budget

  • Taking a lead on meetings to ensure reviews of children and staff are delivered



As a Registered Manager you need:



  • Have obtained or working towards Diploma 5 leadership & management Children & Young People

  • Considerable amount of evidence working with young people in a residential setting

  • Evidence of management at a senior level within a residential setting

  • Previously managed a staff or a team

  • Be able to manage budget - monitoring, recording and reporting

  • Either a NVQ L3 in children & young people OR a NVQ L4 in Management, CMS, DMS or working towards



As a Registered Manager you can expect a salary of up to £50,000 plus:



  • Bonuses of up to £7,000 on top of salary

  • Bonus of £2,000 for registration of a new home with Ofsted

  • 30 holidays (includes bank holidays)

  • Attendance bonus'

  • £75per sleep in completed
