An amazing new job opportunity has arisen for a committed Family Therapist to work in a brand new CAMHS service opened recently based in the Waterlooville, Havant area.

You will be working for one of UK's leading health care providers

A brand new CAMHS service opened in September 2021 which supports young people aged 12-17 with eating disorders

As the Family Therapist your key duties include:

• You will carry a complex caseload that will involve supporting young people and children with an eating disorder, this will see you act as an internal care coordinator to families, providing guidance and consultations


• Run therapeutic groups for the young people on the wards


• You will have the opportunity to influence the therapeutic milieu on the ward by offering ‘reflective practice' sessions and training with the nursing staff/healthcare assistants

The following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role:

• 4 years post qualifying experience


• Substantial CAMHS experience


• Experience in supporting young people and their families, who have a history of unsuccessful treatments to engage in innovative interventions to create meaningful change

The successful Family Therapist will receive an excellent salary up to £45,500 per annum.

This exciting position is a Full Time role working 37.5 hours a week.
