A client within the Public Sector based in Bedfordshire is currently recruiting for an Estates Surveyor to join their commercial team as soon as possible.

The client is offering a full time, temporary position on an ongoing basis with the ideal candidate having experience of working within a local authority.

The Role

Key purpose of the role is to lead on all matters related to our Farm and Commercial estate.

Key responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

• manage the Council's commercial estate (land and buildings for occupation and investment) in accordance with the Asset Management Strategy.
  
  


• managing all landlord and tenant matters to maintain and build revenue income, delivering the annual asset valuation, and proactive management of landlord and tenant negotiations.
  
  This will require close working with the Facilities Management Service.


• manage the Estates Team (Corporate Landlord)

The Candidate

To be considered for this role you will require to be a member of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (RICS).

The client is looking to move quickly with this role and as such are offering £450 per day Umbrella Ltd.
