Opportunity available for a Community Psychiatric Nurse to work within an NHS setting, Based in Nottingham

The team sits within the City East Local Mental Health Team, based at Lavender House in Nottingham.

The role will require a senior, qualified professional who will provide a defined level of specialist assessment and access to interventions for a diverse patient group and their families under the care programme approach, who present with significant mental health problems/disorders.



You will provide realistic timely or occasionally intensive support to patients within their own community setting.



You will also demonstrate active clinical and managerial leadership skills within the team, providing education and supervision to junior staff members and other professionals.

The post holder has a devolved management, leadership and development role in ensuring and supporting the effective delivery of clinical practice to clients aged 18 and over with severe mental health problems in accordance with quality practice and procedures.

The post holder will provide mental health assessments and support to clients within a variety of settings including the clients home, and other health and non-statutory setting.



This role is to commence ASAP and will be working full time over Monday - Friday 9-5

The hourly rate for his role is up to £26 per hour.
