Job Description
Service Care Finance are currently recruiting on behalf of a Local Authority in Surrey for a Finance Business Partner on a temporary basis.


Main Responsibilities:

• To support the delivery of the management accounting function of the Financial Services Team.


• To work collaboratively with the other Finance Business Partner to ensure a consistency in approach and to achieve best practice.


• To provide high quality and timely financial advice, challenge and information to officers and councillors to enable them to produce robust revenue and capital budgets and regular, accurate, realistic revenue and capital budget monitoring forecasts during the year.


• To provide any information that is requested from external parties on a timely basis and ensure it is of good quality and maintain good working relationships with any partner organisations.

Ideal Candidate

• CCAB/CIMA/CIPFA Qualified Accountant


• Significant experience of working within a finance environment, preferably in Local Authority


• Experience of providing business partnering services, including costings, proposals and providing financial advice.


• Experience of using financial management systems e.g.
  
  Integra, SAP, Agresso.


• Great communication skills with the ability to work well on own initiative as well as part of a team.
