Are you ATT qualified (or nearing your last exam) or a Solicitor with 1 year PQE and looking for a new challenge? 

We are working with a Legal 500 company who are looking for a Tax Manager to join them.

You will be based in either their Canterbury or Herne Bay office and have a strong team working around you. 

Duties include, but are not limited to: 

• To advise on and complete Tax Returns for submission to HMRC in relation to Individuals, Estate Administration and Trusts;

• Management and control of all Income and Capital Gains Tax matters on Probate, Management and Trust files;

• Checking tax computations and arranging payments;

• Responsibility for compliance with HMRC’s Trust Registration System;

• Oversee Tax Compliance.

• Dealing with queries internally from colleagues, and externally from clients;

• To deal with all matters relating to the management of a portfolio of clients including advisory services;

• Responsible for keeping up to date with legislative and procedural changes to the Income & Capital Gains Tax regimes and informing the wider department of any such changes;

• Work in a team and assist with the mentoring, development and training of junior members;
