Service Care Legal are recruiting on behalf of a local authority based in North West London, who are seeking a Locum Childcare Lawyer to join their team on a contract basis.

ROLE: Childcare Lawyer
LOCATION: North West London
RATE: £50 to £55 per hour
CONTRACT: 3 months ongoing, 36 hours per week

Please note that this position will be a hybrid working arr

The Role

• To manage and progress a full caseload of matters related to Childcare Law varying in complexity


• To undertake advocacy when required to do so


• To appear and attend Family Proceedings Court and County Court when required


• Providing high quality advice for internal clients

The Person

• A qualified Solicitor, Legal Executive or Barrister with at least 2 years' PQE


• At least 12 months' worth of Children's Law experience


• Previous local authority experience would be highly desirable for this role
