OFSTED Registered Manager

I am currently recruiting for an OFSTED Registered Manager, who has experience of OFSTED registrations and inspections.

The position requires them to get a single occupancy home registered with OFSTED before moving onto registering a second home.

Once this has been completed there will be the progression opportunity to area manager with the opening of further homes.

The expectation is that the correct candidate has experience of OFSTED inspections and has received gradings of at least a 'GOOD' standard.


, Manage and oversee the day-to-day operations of a residential children's home

, Ensure the safety, welfare, and well-being of the children and young people residing in the home , Ensure that the home is run in compliance with all relevant legislation, policies, and procedures

, Lead and manage a team of staff to provide a high-quality service to children and young people

, Develop and maintain positive relationships with children, young people, their families, and other stakeholders

, Ensure that the home meets or exceeds OFSTED's requirements and maintain a good or outstanding rating

, Plan and manage the home's budget and resources effectively


, Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management (Residential Childcare)

, Minimum of 2 years' experience in managing an OFSTED home that carries a rating of good or above

, Experience working with children and young people with challenging behaviours

, UK driving licence

The client I am recruiting for are going through a period of expansion and are looking for an experienced and driven candidate to join them.

The client is willing to pay up to £50,000 for the correct candidate, with bonuses available and also career progression.

Flexible working hours are available for the right candidate.
