Service Care Solutions are recruiting for an experienced Psychologist for a Permanent opportunity supporting our established client in the Kendal area.

Our client is a leading provider of private Mental Health care within the UK.

This is a full-time opportunity with 37.5 hours per week available.

The successful candidate will work across two sites within the beautiful Lake District area, providing psychological support to Adults with Learning Disabilities, amongst other Mental Health conditions.

Hybrid Working is also available.



Job Purpose: Clinical Psychologist

Salary: £65,000 per annum + £250 SCS Sign-Up Bonus

Location: Kendal, Lake District (Hybrid Working available)

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 09:00-17:00

Contract: Full-time | 37.5 Hours

The post holder will work as part of the Psychology Team providing outstanding knowledge of models, methods, law and policies in psychology.
Key Responsibilities:

• Be accountable for the formulation, delivery and evaluation of the psychological assessment and treatment pathway of these service users.
  
  To provide this service within specified timescales depending on the service user's presentation.


• Assist the nursing team with FACE risk assessments as required and ensure these are updated within required time scales.


• Contribute to the Positive Behavioural Support approach used, contributing to functional behaviour analysis, data analysis, formulations and implementing interventions in conjunction with the Positive Behaviour Support lead.


• Contribute to the development of group work programmes with the North region psychology services and LD and ASD psychology services.

Essential

• HCPC Registration

• Substantial experience working with Adults


• Previous experience working within a Learning Disability setting
