Teaching Assistant

Service Care Solutions are recruiting on behalf of a private client for a Residential Support Worker to join their team.


This is a perfect opportunity for anybody who is looking to gain experience in both an educational & residential setting.



This company are looking for enthusiastic, caring and passionate people to become an integral part of their support team.

You will support young people, aged 6-19, to be responsible for providing compassionate care, whilst guiding them through everyday life.


During the day you will support the children in a education setting and during the evening you will be supporting the children in a residential home, taking them out for tea and activities etc.



As a Residential Support Worker you will:



  • Strive to bring out the best in every young person by supporting and guiding them in their daily lives

  • Assisting them in completion of general tasks such as morning & night routines

  • Accompany them to take part in activities such as walking, horse riding, trampolining, duke of Edinburgh etc



As a Residential Support Worker you need:



  • Be able to communicate well with young people and understand their needs

  • Be resilience as you will be supporting some of the most vulnerable children in society

  • Confident and organised in order to update care plans correctly

  • Be attentive to young people and understand them and identify areas where you can support them



As a Residential Support Worker you can expect a salary of £21,099pa and
