Location - Birmingham
Rate - £24-28 PAYE Per Hour

, To support the Head of Patient Relations and Deputy Director of Patient Experience in the development and implementation of the Trust's Patient Experience Strategy.
, To work closely with the Patient Relations management team contributing to delivery of a consistent, high quality Patient Relations service.
, To have specialist knowledge of the Trust's Patient Relations policy and procedures and national regulations in order to provide appropriate advice and set up performance measures.
, To provide expertise in the investigation and resolution of complaints.

This will involve working with patients and their family/ carers whose views may be conflicting.

The post holder will be required to make decisions regarding complex complaints and propose solutions.
, Must demonstrate strong negotiation skills in order to achieve satisfactory outcome for all parties; resolving complaints, disagreements or disputes.

Ensuring that information communicated is understood by those who are not experts, working through barriers to understanding.
, To develop and maintain an assurance framework dashboard to monitor Patient Relations' performance.
, To develop and produce audits to drive the assurance framework, ensuring that the Patient Relations' policies, procedures, KPIs etc.

are audited, data validated and performance monitored.
, To produce reports in a timely manner to meet designated deadlines, bringing together information from PALS and Complaints.

This would include Board level reporting, external reporting and internal reporting, ensuring these are written at the different levels required for the receiving audience.
, Provision of complex, sensitive, contentious information to various audiences as a learning and compliance tool.
, To produce and submit accurate K041a and other external submissions to meet compliance/regulatory requirements.
, To present reports at meetings as required.
