An exciting new job opportunity has arisen for a committed Speech & Language Therapist to work in an exceptional hospital based in the Cheadle, Stoke-on-Trent area.

As the Speech & Language Therapist your key responsibilities include:

• To provide assessment, diagnosis and appropriate speech and language therapy intervention for people referred to the service


• Contribute to the assessment and information-gathering regarding service users' mental capacity and ability to give informed consent


• Assist service user's to maximise their independence in decision-making and communicating their wishes

The following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role:

• Experience in a similar environment


• Experience in learning disability and/or autism is desirable


• Effective team member with excellent written and verbal communication skills

The successful Speech & Language Therapist will receive an excellent salary of £26,520 - £37,890 pro rata DOE.

This exciting position is a Full Time role, working 37.5 hours a week.
