Staff Nurse - Ward

An exciting new job opportunity has arisen for a committed Staff Nurse - Ward to work in an exceptional hospital based in the Mile End, Colchester area.

As a Staff Nurse your key duties include:



  • Participate in the assessment, development, implementation and evaluation of programmes of care, providing specialist advice within the clinical area

  • Manage the nursing care of patients in accordance with the agreed policies of the private Hospital, ensuring appropriate use of resources and safety of patients

  • Maintain a high standard of patient care by the practice of a systematic approach to individualised patient care

  • Develop clinical practice and professional competence

  • Work and liaise with consultant users and other disciplines as appropriate within the hospital, always striving to provide high quality service

  • Promote and implement the requirements of the hospital and Clinical Governance framework



The following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role:



  • HDU skills is an advantage

  • Specialised post-surgery experience preferred but not essential

  • Willingness to learn and grow in the role

  • Responsible for the delivery of the highest standards of care & services



The successful Staff Nurse will receive an excellent salary of £28,500 - £34,000 per annum.
