Service Care Solutions are working with a local authority based in Cheshire who have vacancies for Street Scene Operatives/Gardeners to join there team.

Covering the Winsford area, the operatives will be required to support the Street team in ensuring all streets and open spaces are kept tidy and maintained to make Winsford a pleasant place to live in.

Key responsibilities will include;

• grounds maintenance, grass cutting, weeding, edging, strimming, hedge maintenance, seasonal bedding maintenance and planting, driving ride on mowers and operating tractor powered grass cutting implements.


• Litter picking, street scene work, graffiti removal


• Completing documentation accurately to include work schedules, vehicle checks and route sheets.


• Supporting other departments within the streets team where required.

We are seeking candidates who have experience in a similar role and have a flexible approach to join a diverse team.

This role will involve the candidate working flexible hours starting and finishing late and on occasions, work on weekends.
Experience of operating a ride on mower is also essential for this role.

Core working hours for this role will be Monday to Friday 0800 - 1600
