Job title - HR Business Partner
Location - Lewisham SE6
Contract - Temp 9 months
Hours - Full Time 36 hours per week Monday to Friday
Start Date - ASAP

This interesting and busy role covers the full range of operational HR activities at a business partner level, within our complex and wide ranging organisation.

You should be able to demonstrate an appropriate level of experience supporting managers in a fast moving HR environment, particularly with change management and confidential employee relations matters.

You will have a thorough and up to date knowledge of employment law together with a keen interest in HR best practice.

Job Purpose:

• To be responsible for providing a professional and comprehensive HR service to designated directorates that results in more effective front line delivery.


• To provide a “right first time”, seamless, customer focused HR and ER service to managers and staff throughout the complete employee lifecycle


• Develop strong and trusted partnerships with Managers to provide coaching and advice on people related matters and strategies


• To contribute towards the evidence-based planning and decision making through the provision of high quality HR business intelligence and management information.

Essential Criteria:

• You must be CIPD qualified level 5 and above,


• Have experience of working as a HR Business Partner


• Experience of handling high volumes of ER; a range of ER experience including managing and advising managers at all stages of the following; disciplinaries, grievance, and sickness absence cases


• Experience of restructuring, managing change ,


• Working in a unionised environment and working in high paced environment.


• I want someone who is a fast learner, good attention to detail and can use systems, has experience of Excel and works well as part of a team.
