We currently have a position at Solihull Metropolitan Borough Council working within the admin team of the Children, young people and family division.
This is a full-time role which can offer a hybrid way of working for the duration of the term.
This job is mainly an administrative job meaning you will be inputting and documenting paperwork as well as responding to telephone calls, emails and enquiries regarding peoples situations and guiding them in the correct way to gain some assistance on their current situation.
The job requires you to have previous experience with admin work and communication skills as you will working on different softwares and systems such as Microsoft Word and Excel as well as having good written and oral skills to complete the job to a high level.
They would also like you to have worked with adults and children before but this is not mandatory as training will be given on the job!
You will need to be organised and manage your own workload as well as arrange meetings and appointments for both external contractors and other staff members.
Hours of work are Monday-Friday 9:00am-17:00pm paying £13.47ph.
This will be a starting term of 3 months that can be extended to 6 months if successful.
Work will be within the County Hall with the ability to work from home once training has been completed
Essential Requirements
- Previous experience working in admin
- Enhanced DBS
