Residential Support Worker needed in Solihull

Start Date- ASAP
Location - Solihull, Elmwood Place
Duration - Initially 3 months
Hours per week - 37 hours per week
Salary - £13.44 an hour

Description:

• Deliver person centred outcome focused care and support to a range of Residents with a Learning Disability, Autism, Physical Disabilities, Mental Health etc.


• To be a key worker to a number of identified residents


• To source material, organise and run therapeutic group activities both in the home, and the community, this include daily living and social skills activities


• To provide high standards of physical support/assistance with personal care as required, including support individuals with Dysphagia, who will require support with food and drink


• To carry out assessments and promote independence


• To assist with cleaning tasks, and cooking and to report repairs as needed

What is required?

• Diploma in Health & Social Care level 3 or similar level 3 qualification in Care


• 2 years experience of working with Residents with a Learning Disability and providing personal and emotional care to high standards


• Ability to work on a rota basis
