Service Care Solutions are looking for dedicated and caring Mental Health Support Workers to work at a private hospital on the inpatient wards in Ticehurst

Main duties to include:

Assist qualified healthcare professionals to asses and implement individual care plans undertaking routine tasks and activities as directed to facilitate the wellbeing, dignity and treatment of all patients.

Provide practical support and responsive care to patients who require assistance with intimate personal needs such as dressing, bathing and toileting activities ensuring that such activities comply with procedures and the relevant healthcare legislation.

Observe and monitor the wellbeing of patients ensuring that any unusual physical, mental or emotional occurrences are promptly referred to senior staff/the primary nurse and documented as appropriate.

Successful candidates will be able to determine their own working patterns and will be able to work the role around their current commitments.

To be considered for the candidates will need to have experience providing care for patients/ service users as a support work.
